Information: Ward Shope serves as the Church Ministry Coordinator with Harvest USA. His role is to strengthen the connection between Harvest USA and local churches, and provide assistance to them as the develop their own ministries to those struggling with sexual brokenness. Ward has served as a pastor, a missionary in the Netherlands, and on the home staff of a mission agency as the missionary care manager. In this last role, Ward was struck by the number of missionaries and missionary candidates struggling with matters of sexual brokenness, and how their healing through the Gospel could have great benefit to their ministries.
Ward and his wife, Debbie, have three children who are in the process of leaving the nest. Ward is a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Debbie serves as an instructor in the learning center of a local Christian school. |
